The first stage of Turning Tides adds two new maps, Cape Helles and Achi Baba. There is a new operation set on these maps, where players can take part in the 1915 British amphibious assault of the Gallipoli peninsula. The expansion also adds a new Infiltrator Elite Class, six weapons and two melee weapons. The new weapons include:

  • 1917 Trench Carbine
  • Maschinenpistole M1912/P.16
  • Farquhar-Hill
  • M1917 MG
  • Carcano M91 Carbine
  • Type 38 Arisaka.
  • Naval Cutlass
  • Grappling Hook

There is also a new vehicle to help you rule the waves, the L-Class Destroyer. Of course with all that new content that means players will have a whole new set of service assignments and unlockables to work on.

In January the rest of the new expansion will roll out that will add two additional maps: Zeebrugge and Heligoland Blight. Both maps also feature a naval assault perfect for the introduction of Battlefield 1′ newest faction. Players will have the ability to charge into battle with the Royal Marines and spawn on the C-Class Airship.
