PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is finally coming to Xbox One after being on PC for a while in early access.
The players will have to map out the elaborate control scheme onto the Xbox One controller, from PC. Microsoft revealed the layout for how to play PUBG on the console version of it. If you have ever played First-person shooters, or games similar to PUBG before, then the basic controls should be easy enough for you to figure out. However, a few of the buttons have multiple uses, like tapping X to interact or holding X to reload.
The game’s inventory management is one of the more interesting setups. You’ll use the D-pad and bumpers to navigate, with X being used to pick items up and Y is used to drop the items. The game was built for a keyboard & mouse, so the control scheme does seem to be about as good as your going to get. You might need some time to get used to it, but if you’re a longtime Xbox player, it probably won’t take you long at all. The game will be released on Dec. 12 for Xbox.
Are you going to be getting the game on Xbox? Have you played the PC version of it? What do you think of the Xbox controls for it?
