Divinity: Original Sin 2 shows off fancy 4K attire

Preview version getting 4K support on 19/7!

The Xbox is always just a little bit behind when it comes to isometric RPGs, which have undergone something on a renaissance in recent years on the PC.

Fortunately, Larian Studios don’t want to make us feel like we’re only getting a consolation prize.  Their multiple Game of the Year winning RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be coming to the Xbox One in August, along with a dissertation’s worth of changes, fixes and updated.  For those willing to fork out enough cash for the basically full price preview version, 4K support will be coming for Xbox One X gamers in just two days – that’s July 19th!

Of course, that preview version becomes the game proper come release day.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Sir Lora, the Squirrel Knight who also appears in today’s announcement trailer.  Probably just best if you watch it?

For a full list of changes, I refer you here as the site probably doesn’t have enough bandwidth to list all the changes!
