It’s Ghost vs Predator in New DLC

Ubisoft has something special for Ghost Recon fans this Christmas. The Predator is coming to Ghost Recon Wildlands in a special event from now until early January. Deep in the jungles of Bolivia players will discover one of the greatest hunters in cinema history.

Along with this new mission DLC there are 15 new customizable items being added, a new Ghost War PVP Predator class, and if you are capable of besting the Predator you can earn exclusive items.

Nouredine Abboud, a senior producer at Ubisoft, says the team at Ubisoft Paris are big fans of the Predator franchise and worked hard to incorporate this iconic character into Wildlands. Working with 20th Century Fox to bring a faithful representation to the game in a way both organizations can be proud of. The new DLC is packed with references to the original film he hopes fans will appreciate.

The team wanted to recreate the tension of the first film, which will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Using the jungle and hints of this legendary hunter to build atmosphere before you even get your first look at the Predator. Music plays a big part in creating that tense atmosphere where players feel like they are being swallowed by the jungle and will have to be wary of their next step.

Predator is a formidable foe. He can move quickly, traverse the treetops, has a cloaking device, and has several powerful weapons you will need to watch out for. He is also a smart enemy. Whether he uses his Plasma Caster or his Smart Disc will depend on the situation. According to Abboud “Being able to quickly react and always keep on your toes will be the key to defeating the Predator.”

Ghost Recon Predator Mask

If you are successful you can earn exclusive rewards including a very cool Predator mask, which features Predator vision. There are also many new customization items like new weapons, gear, and Predator wrist blade available in the game store.

You can take on the Predator solo or with up to four players in co-op. The event will run from December 14th to early January and is free to all players.
