Lots of New Content for Assassin’s Creed Origins in January

In a new game update, Ubisoft revealed that fans will have plenty to enjoy this month. Assassin’s Creed Origins’ first expansion expands an already sizable world and adds new quests. They have not specified exactly when this month it will be available or the cost although they did say that ‘The Hidden Ones’ will be available to all season pass holders at no cost.

The Hidden Ones will take place years after the events of the main game. Bayek and the Assassins will clash with Roman forces in an all-new region in the game. Ubisoft is also raising the level cap from 40 to 45 as their gameworld grows.

There will be two community events for all players this month as well. Players will be able to take part in two repeating Trial of the Gods events. Anubis will be active beginning tomorrow until the 16th. Sobek during the last week of January, the 23rd to the 30th. Ubisoft has made three difference trials available as community events, along with a special event last month where all Trials were reactivated for a community challenge. The trials recommend a player level of 40 so if you missed one or two in the last few months this month you should have another shot at unlocking the armor.

This update will also rework some of the cosmetic items available in the game. The Heka chests item pool will be expanded to add items from the Nightmare, First Civilization, Gladiator, and Wacky Packs. You will also be able to sell some of your less desirable outfits at the weaver stores.
