Mass Effect: Andromeda Release Moved

According to EA, the new game in the popular Mass Effect franchise has been moved to Q1 of 2017. Earlier this year it was announced that Mass Effect Andromeda would be released later this Holiday season.

However, during a phone call with an investor, it was stated that the game will be released during the first quarter of 2017, which spans January to the end of March. Mass Effect 2 came out in January, so according to this information we may see Andromeda before the end of March 2017.

“We’ve got a great year ahead,” said EA Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen during a Stanley conference presentation. “We’ve got our Battlefield first-person shooter game coming in the third-quarter, and our third-party title that Respawn, our partner, built, it’s called Titanfall 2”.

“We have our Mirrors Edge runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter”

Obviously we won’t see Mass Effect this year. But hopefully before March of next year.
