Minecraft: Story Mode – The Compete Adventure

Acclaimed game developer and publisher TellTale Games and developer Mahjong have announced a special retail disc of Minecraft: Story Mode-A TellTale Game Series.

The success of Minecraft across the many platforms is astounding, selling over 100 million copies since its initial release.  Now on more platforms than ever, Mahjong announced at E3 this year VR compatibility and cross platform play via Minecraft’s Realms feature.  Realms allows cross platform play between Windows 10, iOS and Android versions with Xbox One coming at a later date and eventually for VR.  With Minecraft’s success came the glaring need for there to be some sort of lore or story to the Minecraft universe and thus Minecraft: Story Mode  was envisioned.

Minecraft: Story Mode – The Complete Adventure disc includes all 8 episodes of the first season for the very first time, including all 5 episodes from the original series and the bonus 3 episodes from the Adventure Pass DLC.  This complete package will set you back U.S. $29.99 and will be out in North America on October 25th and in the Europe starting October 28th.

In  Minecraft: Story Mode, playing as either a male or female hero named ‘Jesse,’ you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse’s friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.

The story continues beyond the original season with three ‘Adventure Pass’ episodes, chronicling the further journeys of Jesse and friends lost in a hall of portals leading from one world to the next.
